General information about our products
All the products of GD Filament are manufactured in Bulgaria, giving special thanks to Mr. Necdet Abi for the help and know-how, which he shared unreservedly with us. All products are manufactured from the highest grade polymers available on the market in Europe and the USA.
PLA Max is a relatively new material on the stage of the PLA filaments. Its most interesting quality, compared to the standard PLA is its much greater strength.
ABS + is also an interesting product. In this case, we are able to achieve the lack of the ABS-specific filaments odor and this enables it to work on an open-ended printer. There is not any smell while printing.
Recommended conditions for working with filaments of GD Filament

PETG
PETG is a material with a lot of advantages but with a lot of special features while printing it. It’s specific for it a high aptitude to absorb water and this is why the material should be keep in closed (zip-lock) bags with a bag of desicator (moister absorber). Has ability to form threads. When you have a higher moister or long-term storage we recommend to dry it within an ordinary oven at 65°C for 7 hours. Keep it to cool down in the oven not opening the oven and put the PETG roll immediately in a bag with a desicator.
- Density: 1,27 G/m3
- Dielectric constant: min. 45kV; max. 45kV
- Nozzle temperature: 240 °C-260 °C
- Bed temperature: 80°С – 90 °С
- Bed: all types (recommended PEI)
- Fan: yes (10-20%) if you have bridges.
- Pay atention on your presets of the print and travel speed.

- We recommend using a printer closed box.
For PLA max, SILK and WOOD, bed: glass\mirror, we recommend 10-15% water suspension of C200 (polyvinyl acetate glue) . Add a thin layer with a brush over the cold bed, heat it and let it few minutes to dry. If, after cooling, your workpiece can not peel off – just soak the water/mirror and leave it for a few minutes. Water will penetrate under the workpiece and will dissolve the C200 – suspension. This suspension is very durable and with a single application can be worked for more than a month.
A good universal solution is to use dry office glue, added directly over the bed. As the glue itself adds a thin layer and this reflects to the perfect first layer view – you could process it with isopropyl alcohol and almost solve the office glue.
For PA12 we recommend to use a special epoxy bed (Garolite) or similar.
A good universal solution is the use a PEI bed.
